How It Works

The process is easy and meant to be stress free, so that you can give all of your time and attention to your new baby.

Step 1

Take a cooler with you to your place of birth. The placenta needs to be put on ice or in a refrigerator within 2 hours of delivery. Once you have given birth, reach out via text message. Jen 801-865-9306. We can set up a time for pick up that works for us both.

Step 2

I will then come to your place of birth at the time we agreed upon to meet someone out front and receive your placenta. I will label it and bring it back to the placenta kitchen.

Step 3

Your label stays with your placenta the entire time of processing. This process is fairly quick and your capsule are generally delivered back to you or shipped (depending on location) within 24 hours.

Basic Package

Placenta is steamed to 160 degrees before dehydrating and placed into capsules.

Tincture Add-On

A placenta tincture is made by adding a small piece of placenta in 190 proof organic corn alcohol. May be used even after capsules are gone in times of stress, anxiety, and emotional lows.

Umbilical Cord Keepsake Options:

We can use the umbilical cord that is attached to the placenta to make a keepsake. Depending on the amount of umbilical cord available, we create a shape and dehydrate it for you.

Plain/Natural

Free

Most of the time the umbilical cord is long enough to create a butterfly shape. This is the standard shape that is included in the drying process and is free of charge.

Painted In Keepsake Box

$15

With this option, your cord keepsake is painted and placed in a sturdy keepsake box.

Placenta Print

$25

Your placenta is painted with only food coloring and then a print is made on watercolor paper. You will receive it with a protector and rolled up in a protective cardboard tube.
