Step 1

Book & Pay Deposit

Fill out and submit the booking form. The total price for the placenta shipping kit and basic encapsulation is $350. Your $150 deposit is due at this time. We only accept Venmo payments. The remaining $200 balance is due when your capsules are ready to ship. You will receive a text confirmation about your placenta kit once we receive your form and deposit.

Step 2

We ship your kit

Your Kit is shipped between 35-37 weeks of pregnancy. Your nursing staff can help you double bag the placenta in the two biohazard ziplock bags. Ziplock bags need to be free of air and completely sealed. Place the placenta in your airtight container. Be sure ice is packed well on the bottom and top of your placenta container in your cooler. Please do not use any other container that the hospital might provide. Make sure that the placenta gets fresh ice every few hours as needed. The placenta can be on ice for up to 24 hours. Make arrangements so that the placenta is in the refrigerator or freezer within 24 hours of birth. The placenta must be frozen within 48 hours of birth.

Step 3

Freeze & Package

When arriving home, place placenta container in freezer with the two ice blocks for 24 hours. Make sure the cooler is free of any ice or water when preparing for shipping. Place one ice block at the bottom of cooler. Then place placenta container on top. Place the second ice block on the side of your container. Fill remaining space with provided bubble wrap. Secure lid to cooler with zip tie. Place cooler in box and close with provided packing tape. Remove any previous shipping labels and attach the prepaid shipping label on the top. Then place the perishable labels on opposite ends of the box.

Step 4

Drop Off at UPS

Drop off your box at the nearest UPS shipping location. Days that you can ship your placenta on are Monday through Thursday. This ensures that the placenta arrives the next day and doesn’t fall on a weekend. Your capsules will be ready and shipped out within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your placenta and once we have received your final payment. You will also receive shipping confirmation via text. We only accept Venmo payments.

Rush services

If you are post 37 weeks, you may still book services and we will ship your kit immediately. If you are currently in labor or have already given birth, be sure to freeze your placenta within 48 hours. Once your kit arrives follow the instructions for shipping.

Refunds

Your $150 deposit is for your placenta shipping kit, and prepaid UPS overnight shipping label that will be included. If for any reason you decide not to encapsulate, or end up having a uterine infection at birth and cannot encapsulate, you will be refunded $100 upon the return of your placenta kit. Once your placenta has been processed, there will be no refunds and the balance remaining will be due.
